Dr Thapana Tangshewinsirikul (Dr Tom)

Dr Tom graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. His further training includes Radiation Physics, Radiobiology, and Radiation Oncology, alongside study in complementary fields and integrative nutrition.

Dr Thapana Tangshewinsirikul, known as Dr Tom, is a Thai-licensed physician with a background in Radiation Oncology and integrative approaches to cancer care. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and continued his training with certifications in Radiation Physics, Radiobiology and Radiation Oncology.

Over the years he has expanded his expertise into complementary fields, including chelation therapy, cell therapy workshops, aesthetic dermatology, traditional Chinese medicine and advanced integrative nutrition. This multidisciplinary background allows him to support patients through care plans that consider wellbeing from multiple perspectives.

Dr Tom currently works across several cancer centres in Thailand and contributes to Verita Life as a consultant in integrative medicine and integrative oncology. His approach is gentle, thoughtful and centred around helping patients feel supported and understood.

Dr Nopparat Suwannasuk (Dr Jan)

Dr Jan completed her medical degree at Rangsit University, Rajavithi Hospital. Her experience includes primary care, emergency medicine, and clinical training abroad. At Verita Life she supports the integrative oncology team and patients’ day-to-day care.

Dr Nopparat Suwannasuk, also known as Dr Jan, is a Thai-licensed physician with experience in primary care, emergency medicine and international clinical environments. She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at Rangsit University (Rajavithi Hospital) and began her career in both tertiary and community hospital settings.

Dr Jan has trained in several clinical departments abroad, including externships and observerships across emergency and primary care services in Chicago. Her experience within diverse healthcare systems has shaped her patient-centred, calm and reassuring approach to care.

At Verita Life she supports the integrative oncology team by helping patients feel comfortable, listened to and well guided. Her warm manner and dedication to clear communication make her an important part of each patient’s care journey.

Dr Art Watcharawut Malikul (Dr Art)

Dr Art specialises in Radiation Oncology and has more than two decades of clinical experience. His training includes Phramongkutklao College of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and further qualifications in Germany and Australia.

Dr Watcharawut Malikul, known to many patients as Dr Art, is a Thai-licensed physician specialising in Radiation Oncology. With more than two decades of clinical experience, he has contributed to cancer care across leading hospitals in Thailand, including the Royal Thai Air Force’s Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital and regional cancer centres in Udon Thani, Lopburi and Ubon Ratchathani.

He completed his medical degree at Phramongkutklao College of Medicine and went on to earn advanced qualifications in Radiation Oncology from Chulalongkorn University, Essen University Hospital and Kiel University Hospital. He later broadened his clinical exposure with certification from Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Australia.

At Verita Life, Dr Art supports the development of patient-centred, integrative care plans. His approach reflects his commitment to clarity, safety and compassionate support, helping patients feel informed and cared for throughout their journey.

Declan Harte

Declan leads our patient representatives. His team answers questions, arranges medical consultations, and helps with travel planning and visa applications, from the initial enquiry through arrival and ongoing care.

After over 20 years of service in the military and fire department, Declan has made a career around supporting people during the most challenging, and often life-threatening, periods of their lives. Since, he has studied business, leadership, and performance psychology, helping him to become a calm, compassionate, and people first person. Empathy, integrity, and trust are the base of every interaction he has with patients at Verita Life.

Like many people, Declan has experienced the personal impact cancer has had on those close to him and consequently he is passionate about helping both patients and their loved ones to feel informed, supported, and confident while they navigate this unfamiliar journey. He understands that facing a cancer diagnosis requires more than just information, rather it requires compassion, honest communication, and sometimes just someone who is available to listen to your concerns.

As the head of patient representatives at Verita Life, Declan works closely with prospective patients, ensuring they have thoughtful support, reassurance, and timely responses.

Ms Areewan Dethan (Aoy)

Aoy leads the nursing team and works with the doctors to coordinate care plans and support patients during procedures. Her background includes intensive care, oncology, and postoperative recovery.

Areewan Dethan, known to our patients as Aoy, has been part of our team at Verita Life for almost three years after over a decade of nursing experience across a range of clinical environments. Aoy spent seven years at Ramathibodi Hospital, one of the best hospitals in Thailand, where she gained extensive experience while caring for patients in intensive care, oncology, orthopedics, and post-op recovery.

Acting as our lead nurse, Aoy manages the nursing team, playing a central role in supporting patients at every stage of their treatment journey. Working closely with Verita Life’s doctors to coordinate personalised care plans, guide the nursing team during a variety of procedures, and ensure every single patient receives safe, attentive, and compassionate care throughout their treatment. Aoy takes pride in providing calm leadership and dedication to patient wellbeing, while creating a reassuring environment for both patients and their loved ones.

Julian Andriesz

Julian founded Verita Healthcare and Verita Life following his mother’s experience of cancer care. His work focuses on healthcare organisations that address individual needs and long-term wellbeing.

Julian Andriesz is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Verita Healthcare and Verita Life. His dedication to integrative oncology and cancer prevention began more than 15 years ago, following his mother’s diagnosis with ovarian cancer, which shaped his commitment to a more personalised and preventative approach to healthcare.

Motivated by a desire to improve how care is experienced by patients and families, Julian has focused on building healthcare organisations that prioritise individual needs, long-term wellbeing and compassionate support.

He is a two-time recipient of Singapore’s Enterprise 50 Award and an accomplished entrepreneur who chairs multiple boards across the healthcare sector. He also serves as President of the Cancer-Aid Foundation in Switzerland and supports charitable initiatives including the Rewatha Children Orphanage in Sri Lanka.

Dr Abdulla El-Hossami

Dr El-Hossami contributes clinical leadership and medical oversight across Verita Healthcare. He works with medical teams on the development and review of integrative care frameworks and has more than a decade of experience in integrative oncology.

Dr Abdulla El-Hossami serves as Group Chief Medical Officer for Verita Healthcare. With more than a decade of experience in integrative oncology, he contributes clinical leadership and medical oversight across the organisation, supporting the development and review of integrative care frameworks.

He works closely with medical teams across Verita Life clinics, providing guidance to help ensure that care approaches are informed by current research, safety standards and best practice in patient centred care. His focus is on thoughtful integration, clinical responsibility and supporting teams in delivering care that prioritises patient wellbeing and clarity.

Dr El-Hossami is also the Founder of Cancer Coach, an initiative established during the pandemic to offer remote guidance and educational support for cancer patients who are unable to travel.
