Policies and information
Patient rights and responsibilities
Your rights and responsibilities when receiving care.
On this page
Draft for review. This policy has not yet been approved for public launch.
Respectful care
You should be treated with dignity and respect. Tell the care team about communication, accessibility, cultural, or other needs that may affect your care so they can discuss available support.
Information and informed decisions
Ask your clinicians to explain the proposed care, expected benefits, material risks, alternatives, and uncertainties in terms you understand. You may ask questions and seek another clinical opinion.
Treatment consent should be addressed separately from a website enquiry. Ask the team about your options if you wish to decline a proposed treatment or withdraw consent, including the possible consequences for your care.
Privacy and access to records
You can ask how your information is used, who receives it, and how to request access or correction. Access requests may require identity checks and are subject to the laws and duties that apply to the records.
Use the Contact page to ask for the appropriate records-request process. Do not send medical records or identity documents in your initial website message.
Your role in care
Give the clinical team accurate information about your health, medicines, allergies, and relevant treatment history through the intake process they provide. Tell them if your condition changes or you do not understand an instruction.
Treat staff and other patients respectfully. Discuss appointment arrangements, costs, and any difficulty following the agreed plan with the team.
Concerns and complaints
Raise concerns with the care team and ask for the clinic’s complaints procedure if they are not resolved. Ask for help if you need assistance making a complaint.
This website summary is under clinical review. The clinic’s formal statement and local requirements will be confirmed before public launch.
