Colin’s Integrative Treatment for Squamous Cell Carcinoma at Verita Life
Colin McGregor, a 76-year-old Australian was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. After extensive research online, he found the Verita Life website and watched the various patient testimonials that encouraged him further to begin his treatment with Verita Life in Bangkok.
Colin’s Improvements from Integrative Treatment
Colin experienced substantial recovery after receiving Integrative Treatment with Verita Life. He received IPT and Hyperthermia alongside various Supportive Treatments and more. The reduction of cancer was abundantly clear following the tests that were done towards the end of his treatment.
As part of the treatment regimen, Colin, like other Verita Life patients was prescribed a Personalised Anticancer Diet, provided by Verita Life. The diet is comprised of organic fruit, vegetables, as well as meat. Those meals were nearly devoid of sugars. Cancer cells run on glucose, depriving them of fuel while maintaining proper nutrition during treatment is a critical part of Verita Life’s Integrative Treatment.
Colin was also pleased by the fact that he experienced no side effects during the Integrative Treatment at Verita Life.
The radiation (back home) was to be 15 minutes a day for five days and chemo for one day. I came here and calculated my Hyperthermia, it was 36 hours, and low-dose IPT and all of these gave me no side effects whatsoever.”
A word of advice from Colin
Colin advises all cancer patients to thoroughly research their treatment options before making any conclusions;
“I think that when you are first told that you have cancer, don’t panic. It didn’t just happen overnight. It’s something that’s been growing for some time. There’s no reason to panic. Do your research. Learn about your options. Understand your cancer. Learn what is available that can work with it or doesn’t work with it. Listen to other people. Be very diligent before making your decision. I’m so glad that I came here first. The results speak for themselves.”
What is Squamous Cell Carcinoma?
Squamous Cell Carcinoma is known to be a common form of Skin Cancer. Symptoms include dark patches, open sores that may crust or bleed and more. Persistent oral lesions are a possible sign indicating the presence of oral cancer. Dental and medical professionals can identify the condition via visual inspection and the implementation of a brush biopsy. Following a biopsy, endoscopy, chest x-ray and CT scan are implemented to identify if the cancer has spread.
Under normal circumstances, when carcinoma of the tongue is localised, there is a greater than 75% chance of survival for over 5 years. If lymph nodes are metastasised, survival chances are halved. Typically, metastases from the tongue travel to lymph nodes and eventually the lungs.
Conventional treatments for Squamous Cell Carcinoma include Radiation and Chemotherapy. Both of which have the potential for serious side-effects.
Verita Life’s personalised Primary Cancer Treatments for Squamous Cell Carcinoma includes IPT which is essentially a low-dose chemotherapy that does not cause side-effects. Another key treatment within the Comprehensive Programme by Verita Life is Local Hyperthermia which utilises non-radioactive technology to intensively heat tumours without affecting nearby organs.
