Sam was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer, a rare and often misunderstood condition, in December 2021. After initial treatments elsewhere, he came to Verita Life seeking a more comprehensive, integrative approach to his care.

What stood out most to Sam was the community he found here. “It’s not until you have cancer yourself that you realize — it’s a lot different. And especially being here, everyone’s on the same path… you kind of feel like you’re coming home in a sense.”

Through personalized therapies and meaningful connection, Sam found strength not just in treatment, but in mindset. “Stay as positive as you can, that’s 50% of it” he reflects.
