Michelle Dykstra, Breast Cancer Patient
Video Testimonial

I feel like I’ve been given a chance at life”.

Only 4 months ago, Michelle Dykstra noticed a lump in her breast and immediately sought the advice of her doctor. Initial tests however were inconclusive, with Michelle told it was likely an infection which antibiotics could treat. Continuing to get sicker and sicker, Michelle underwent a further biopsy, again with no clarity on her condition. After three months of back and forth, Michelle received the diagnosis of Stage 4 breast cancer, with lymph node and lung metastases.

Having previously suspected cancer might be the cause of her lump, Michelle had researched potential treatments options, including integrative immune boosting therapies at Verita Life. When the true cause of her condition was revealed, Michelle immediately flew to Thailand to undergo a six week intensive program.

“The very first day I arrived I met with all the doctors and nurses and treatment started immediately, there was no taking a breath … it was good, it was what I needed”, recalls Michelle.

During her program, Michelle received a variety of personalised treatments including Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT), local hyperthermia, infrared heat therapy (Hydrosun), Vitamin C infusion, herbal therapies and more.

As treatment progressed Michelle’s wound started to close with less tenderness experienced. After 6 weeks, her CT scan results showed an overall decrease in size of the tumour in lungs, breast and lymph node.

My breast tumour is now half the size. I had four nodes in my lungs, and there’s now two and they’ve shrunk and my lymph nodes are clear”.

As well, Michelle is experiencing a daily increase in her energy and physical activity levels, as well as a positive and brighter mindset.

I feel really positive about what’s coming and the future now. I feel like I’ve been given a chance at life”.
