Our Scientific Advisory Board provides oversight, clinical guidance and continual review of our integrative approach to cancer care. Their role is to ensure that every element of our supportive therapies aligns with current research, safety standards and best practice in patient-centred care.
Working closely with our medical and care teams, the board helps shape treatment frameworks, review protocols and support the ongoing development of our clinical environment. Dr Art Watcharawut Malikul (Dr Art)
Radio Oncologist
Dr Watcharawut Malikul, known to many patients as Dr Art, is a Thai-licensed physician specialising in Radiation Oncology. With more than two decades of clinical experience, he has contributed to cancer care across leading hospitals in Thailand, including the Royal Thai Air Force’s Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital and regional cancer centres in Udon Thani, Lopburi and Ubon Ratchathani.
He completed his medical degree at Phramongkutklao College of Medicine and went on to earn advanced qualifications in Radiation Oncology from Chulalongkorn University, Essen University Hospital and Kiel University Hospital. He later broadened his clinical exposure with certification from Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Australia.
At Verita Life, Dr Art supports the development of patient-centred, integrative care plans. His approach reflects his commitment to clarity, safety and compassionate support, helping patients feel informed and cared for throughout their journey.
Dr Nopparat Suwannasuk, also known as Dr Jan, is a Thai-licensed physician with experience in primary care, emergency medicine and international clinical environments. She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at Rangsit University (Rajavithi Hospital) and began her career in both tertiary and community hospital settings.
Dr Jan has trained in several clinical departments abroad, including externships and observerships across emergency and primary care services in Chicago. Her experience within diverse healthcare systems has shaped her patient-centred, calm and reassuring approach to care.
At Verita Life she supports the integrative oncology team by helping patients feel comfortable, listened to and well guided. Her warm manner and dedication to clear communication make her an important part of each patient’s care journey.

Dr Thapana Tangshewinsirikul (Dr Tom)
Oncology Director
Dr Thapana Tangshewinsirikul, known as Dr Tom, is a Thai-licensed physician with a background in Radiation Oncology and integrative approaches to cancer care. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and continued his training with certifications in Radiation Physics, Radiobiology and Radiation Oncology.
Over the years he has expanded his expertise into complementary fields, including chelation therapy, cell therapy workshops, aesthetic dermatology, traditional Chinese medicine and advanced integrative nutrition. This multidisciplinary background allows him to support patients through care plans that consider wellbeing from multiple perspectives.
Dr Tom currently works across several cancer centres in Thailand and contributes to Verita Life as a consultant in integrative medicine and integrative oncology. His approach is gentle, thoughtful and centred around helping patients feel supported and understood.
Senior Management
Leading with care, responsibility and patient focus
Our senior management team is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of Verita Life and ensuring that every patient experience reflects our values of compassion, clarity and respect. Their role is to support the clinical and care teams by creating an environment where patient wellbeing, safety and transparency remain the priority.
Working closely with the Medical Board and care teams, senior management helps maintain high standards across patient services, coordination and communication. They are committed to ensuring that every individual who engages with Verita Life feels supported, informed and cared for from first contact through every stage of their journey.
Julian Andriesz is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Verita Healthcare and Verita Life. His dedication to integrative oncology and cancer prevention began more than 15 years ago, following his mother’s diagnosis with ovarian cancer, which shaped his commitment to a more personalised and preventative approach to healthcare.
Motivated by a desire to improve how care is experienced by patients and families, Julian has focused on building healthcare organisations that prioritise individual needs, long-term wellbeing and compassionate support.
He is a two-time recipient of Singapore’s Enterprise 50 Award and an accomplished entrepreneur who chairs multiple boards across the healthcare sector. He also serves as President of the Cancer-Aid Foundation in Switzerland and supports charitable initiatives including the Rewatha Children Orphanage in Sri Lanka.

Dr Abdulla El-Hossami
Group Chief Medical Officer
Dr Abdulla El-Hossami serves as Group Chief Medical Officer for Verita Healthcare. With more than a decade of experience in integrative oncology, he contributes clinical leadership and medical oversight across the organisation, supporting the development and review of integrative care frameworks.
He works closely with medical teams across Verita Life clinics, providing guidance to help ensure that care approaches are informed by current research, safety standards and best practice in patient centred care. His focus is on thoughtful integration, clinical responsibility and supporting teams in delivering care that prioritises patient wellbeing and clarity.
Dr El-Hossami is also the Founder of Cancer Coach, an initiative established during the pandemic to offer remote guidance and educational support for cancer patients who are unable to travel.
Dear joined Verita Life in early 2014 and played an important role in establishing the foundations of the clinic’s operations. With more than two decades of leadership experience, she focuses on ensuring that every patient experience feels smooth, supportive and well coordinated, from initial contact through to ongoing follow-up.
She is deeply committed to operational excellence and works closely with clinical, care and support teams to maintain high standards of service, compliance and patient care across the organisation.

Bow joined Verita Life in 2018 and leads our Patient Representatives team. Her compassionate and knowledgeable team is often the first point of contact for patients and families, offering guidance from initial enquiries through to arrival and ongoing support.
They assist with answering questions, arranging consultations with the medical team, and supporting practical needs such as visa applications and travel planning ahead of visits to our clinics. Bow is deeply committed to ensuring every patient feels informed, reassured and cared for from the very first conversation.
