Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

November marks the Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. It is a month dedicated to increasing awareness of the illness and promoting the fight against it. Pancreatic Cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers. It is estimated that 93% of Pancreatic Cancer patients will die within five years of their diagnosis, and that only 8% will survive more than that.

Risk Factors of Pancreatic Cancer
While the causes of Pancreatic Cancer are not known exactly, there are certain contributing factors that have been established. These factors include: age, smoking, obesity and a family history of the illness. The cancer, which begins in the pancreas, is highly dangerous because it grows, spreads rapidly and is more often than not diagnosed in its late stages. Seeing as Pancreatic Cancer is quite difficult to diagnose, the symptoms and signs often equally become visible towards its last stages. These symptoms include: weight loss, back pain and sometimes painless jaundice.

The most direct way of curing Pancreatic Cancer is with the surgical removal of the cancer. Chemotherapy is also often used after the surgery; this can, however, deteriorate the entire immune system while trying to fight the cancer.

Alternative Cancer Treatment Plan
At Verita Life, we use our wide array of multi-faceted cancer treatments to detach and attack the tumour directly; and for a cancer as aggressive as Pancreatic Cancer, this is crucial. Our diverse Integrative Treatments include, but are not limited to, the following: Local Hyperthermia, Viral Immune Therapy, Peptide Therapy and Chelation Therapy. We handle each patient as an individual and we customise our service to their needs. Our professional, experienced and caring doctors then advise on what course of treatment they feel is best suited to the patient.

In case you’re suffering from Pancreatic Cancer, or know a friend or family member who is, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. A Patient Representative will be available to answer all your questions and find you the care you need.
