WHAT IS IT?
Apigenin is a vegetable dye and is found in various vegetables and spices. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Every cell has the ability to destroy itself. This mechanism is called apoptosis and is used to ensure that old or diseased cells destroy themselves before they become a danger to the body. Cancer cells have developed mechanisms to disable self-destruction. That allows them to divide and grow continuously. Apigenin reactivates the self-destructive mechanism of the cancer cells and thereby kills them.
Apigenin also blocks the cell division of cancer cells, preventing them from multiplying.
Cancer cells have the property of spreading and forming distant tumors. This phenomenon is called metastasis. Apigenin inhibits the formation of metastases and thus the spread of cancer cells.
Apigenin also supports the immune defense against cancer.
AGAINST WHICH CANCER TYPES CAN IT BE USED?
Due to its various properties, apigenin can be used against a variety of tumor types. In experiments, an effect could be observed on the following types of cancer:
Colon, breast, lungs, prostate, melanoma, leukemia, ovary, brain tumors, kidney cancer, oral cancer, pancreatic cancer, and uterine cancer.
Apigenin is well-tolerated. We only recommend intravenous use. Above all, apigenin works synergistically and should only be used in combination with other substances.
